The Boarding House offers cookie decorating classes with
each class having a different theme.
Classes are $40.00 and are taught at The Boarding House location.
The classes are taught using techniques
by our head cookie decorator Brittany Spurrier.
Brittany has been decorating at The Boarding House for 12 years. She
decorates cookies everyday for customers and is up to date on the latest cookie
decorating ideas, tools and techniques.

Basic Cookie
Decorating Class

Demonstrate outlining

This course is an introduction to the basic art of
decorative cookies. Topics include
familiarization with cookie decorating tools, bags, tips and exploration into
different styles of cookies. We will
demonstrate how to properly outline, and decorate cookies. You will get to practice basic outlining and
decorative piping.
Kits are
available for $20.00. Retail price
$27.45. The kit includes tips for basic cookie class, couplers and a case to
put your tips in.
Intermediate Cookie Decorating Class

classes are recommended for students that have decorating experience or that
have already taken the basic decorating class.
The intermediate classes go a few steps beyond the basics and offer
instruction on creating cookies with beautiful texture and dimension.

CLASS RULES AND CLARIFICATIONS
1.
Register
online, in store or call 330-832-2935 to register by phone. Each class is $40.00
2.
All
classes are held at The Boarding House, 407 Parkview St. NE, Massillon, Ohio
3.
Registration
is not complete until the class is paid for.
4.
Registration
fees are not refundable.
5.
Classes
are limited to 12 students with a 6 person minimum. Registration is on a first come first-served
basis. The Boarding House has the right
to cancel or reschedule classes if minimum class size is not met.
6.
All
students must be 15 years or older.
7.
The
Boarding House will provide (1) doz. Cookies per student and icing to finish
cookies. Kits will be available for purchase of tips, couplers, and bags.
8.
Classes
will begin promptly at their scheduled start time. Please plan on showing up on time or early to
insure you receive the full benefit of each course. Classes are 1.5 hours long.
9.
Please
dress comfortably for the class. Wear
comfortable shoes, as you will be standing.
